Multi-Plate Circuits will accept PCB build data
in artwork form or on electronic data base. We strongly urge all
customers to provide electronic data. By eliminating the exposure
of fragile artwork to the environmental stresses of temperature
and humidity we both gain inherent improvements in quality.
Multi-Plate Circuits has provided assistance to many customers to
develop this capability.
Please remember that the quality of the product
that we build for you starts with the quality of the tools that
you provide. Below is listed the requirements for the tooling
inputs. Tooling, including latest revision specifications, must
be complete and of acceptable quality before Multi-Plate Circuits
will initiate a job into work.
Electronic Data Requirements
- Media options
- Magnetic tape, standard 1/2 inch, 9 track
or QIC-80 compatible cartridge tape.
- MSDOS 3.5 & 5.25 HD Floppy Disks.
- Format to be Gerber RS-274 or RS-274X
(Preferred).
- Character code to be ASCII
- Drawing options
- Three copies of all applicable drawings.
- HPGL file on acceptable media.
- Documentation "README" file
- Company, address, phone, fax, modem and
contact.
- Part Number, Revision and Purchase Order
number.
- Data files listing.
- Numbering Format, Zero suppression data,
Unit of measure, Scale, Mode and End of block character.
- Aperture wheel and special aperture
descriptions.
- Check Plot options
- One set each 1:1 paper pen plots.
- Customer furnished 1:1 Positive or
Negatives.
- Multi-Plate generated 1:1 check plots sent
to customer for approval.
- Electronic file transfer

- N/C drill tape, EIA or ASCII code.

.007 Mylar film.
- Three sets of all applicable drawings.
